pooped. but pumped.

it's friday, it's summer, it's 6:30pm, and i'm finishing up the last-minute things for the week before it all begins again next monday.

there's something about camp, despite the long hours and crazy energy, that makes me smile amidst all the insanity. maybe it's the kids, or the staff, or the grateful parents, or just everything in combination. it's the bestest memories that linger.. and make me interested in coming back another summer. i try to forget about parkside hall and the frustrations related.

but in thinking about this, it's also intriguing to realize what i remember about every other summer, or season, or stage. some days, i still miss dc. some days, i think about boston. and other times, i wonder what next year will hold. is there really a season for everything?

i'm in a love/hate relationship with facebook. is it good? why are middle-schoolers signed on? does it promote stalking? or just keeping tabs on life-long, long-lost friends? is it worth my time? yes, no, maybe so. it's one of those technological tools that becomes both good and bad and straddles that line in-between.

summer makes me pooped too. i'm a little tired. but pumped. two weeks down, more adorable nerdiness and water balloons to go.
