the world is ridiculous

i've come to the conclusion that society is losing it. really quickly.

examples of complete and utter re-donk-ulous-ness:

1. recreating the 1918 Spanish flu H1N1 strain in order to study and prevent an avian flu pandemic. maybe not so ridiculous except for the fact that it entirely disregards biosecurity precautions. if we all die because some of the H1N1 strain leaks out and infects the world all over again, i'm just gonna say "i told you so."

2. bush. apparently, islamic militants have a "a radical ideology with immeasurable objectives to enslave whole nations and intimidate the world." who knew? great. i'm more concerned with the U.S. attempt to mold the rest of the world to our whims.

3. bet you didn't know that federal money was going towards buying viagra for sex offenders. oh government, how you make so much sense.

sigh.
