college

ahhh, the recently-released princeton review's college rankings (not to be confused with US news and world report's rankings (more official, more about qualifications and stats, not quite based on student opinion and feedback), released a few weeks ago):

toughest to get into:
1) mit (yesssssss!)
2) yale (pshaw)
3) princeton
4) harvard
5) franklin olin college of engineering

mwhaha, we beat the ivies.

stone-cold sober schools:
1) brigham young university
2) usafa (really?)
3) wheaton college (il)

hmm.. avoid the mormons.

happiest students:
1) stanford university
2) whitman college
3) brown university
4) southern methodist univ.
5) rhodes college

oh boo on you, stanford. BOO! i could've been happy!!

most beautiful campus:
1) pepperdine univ

hmmm.. DUH. how can malibu not be beautiful?!

oh, what interesting rankings. funny how mit didn't make it to "happiest students" or "most beautiful campus"... :)
