yo ho ho and a bottle of...
yo.
it's january two-thousand-and-ten. remember when it was 1999 and we were all planning on living in our basements for years because of y2k? how ridic.
it's also friday, thank god. it's my twelfth consecutive day of work (weekend work retreats are oh-so-fun but oh-so-incredibly-tiring), and despite my attempts to make this a half-day, i'm still sitting in my office at 3:54pm. alas, "half-day" equates to... 7 hours. not quite right, is it?
but anyway, the sun is finally shining in norcal. after decades of rain, i was quite happy to note that the sun has made its way back out today. sunshine makes everything better.
which makes me think that i REALLY like sunshine.
sunshine during work. sunshine during vacations. i guess i don't like sunshine at night; i don't think i could do alaska or norway.
....
i'm thinking of buying a house. is that nuts-o?
rate it:
1. not nutso, totally reasonable.
2. a little nutso, but pretty practical at this time and age.
3. wavering between normal and nutty.
4. uhhh, you sure about that?
5. are you freaking insane? do you know what houses cost in california?
i fluctuate between 5 and 1 constantly.
okay, 3:58pm. i'm leaving. congratulate me on my "half-day"!
